Ohlins USA? What are you trying to do? Revalve it? Replace the oil?

As an Öhlins service center we have it but not to be sent to the general public, maybe Öhlins will give it to you. You will need special tools costing more than having a service center like us, Dan Kyle or Öhlins do it.
Is there a specific question you have I can answer?

There is a TTX service manual, there is not a specific one for the 1098R shock .

It will cover all TTX36 type shocks.
There is also a spec sheet for the 1098R shock, that gets it specific.

The manual expects you to have some knowledge about Ohlins shocks.
And Ohlins just loves special tools.

I have no problem emailing you the shop manual. it is in PDF form. Too large to post here. (4.58 MB.)
Send me an email.

Service centers or Öhlins can change the fluid without taking the shock apart with a vacuum machine. There are some valving upgrades made to that TTX since then so may be a good time to do that too.

Thanks for the info, I'm not in the US so I will look into it here.
Merry Christmas.
