1098R Super Build **MUST SEE**

I thought you guys might want to see what it looks like when you add somewhere in the neighborhood of $80,000-$100,000 into your 1098R. We'll probably still add some bits as we build and we haven't decided on changing the bodywork yet.

I'll post up a complete list of parts once we finish - for now just enjoy the images as we build.

If you see something you like let me know - all easily attainable.

Crank and titanium rods waiting to be sent out with the new pistons for balancing.

Cases apart.

Motocorse suspension link.

NCR Titanium frame.

NCR titanium clip-ons, billet triples, random titanium hardware.

Frame being assembled.

Ohlins RT forks.

Carbon fiber framed bike in the background watching the Ti framed bike being built...

Corse cam kit going in.

NCR Titanium frame #3 and the only 1098R titanium subframe in existence.

RAM magnesium swingarm and magnesium hub being test fit. Cases in for a test fit too.

This is the real deal master cylinder - same that Rossi uses... super sweet if you've got $2700 to burn!

All bolts, axles, etc... titanium

Titanium clip-on

Titanium bolts holding the titanium frame and rear subframe together.

Titanium crossbar for tank mount.

Titanium hardware and front axle. The original swingarm pivot is pictured here - it was replaced with a titanium bit.

BST carbon wheels, Brembo HP rotors, Ohlins RT forks. Can't wait to show you the calipers!

Titanium rotor bolts on the Brembo HP rotors.

Front end coming together.

how about this for tail section ,i`m looking to get
Durbahn
Monocoque Ducati 848 / 1098 (S/R)
Price $890 Euro
Durbahn 1098 Carbon Monocoque - 6 kg
( 13.2 lbs ) weight saving

Fits to OEM 1098/S/R + 848.
= Only 140 Euros per 1 kg ( 2.2 lbs ) of lost weight!!
If you sell the Bits which will be replaced it costs you close to nothing !
What you see here - on the first look may seem to be a OEM 1098.
But, there's a huge weight saving included, it's the Tailsection.
The first Carbon Monocoque Tailsection is done - the weight saving by only this single Part is more than 13lbs, or 6kg !!
All in one, Tailsection and Subframe ....you might see, that there is no Subframe.
Buy a Titanium Subframe, a lightweight Tailsection ........
you'll never achieve this weight-saving .
Explanation/Delivery Content/FAQ's:
- This Tailsection is designed for Race and road and made from 100% Carbon Fiber
- For Road you HAVE TO mount a small Taillight at the OEM or Aftermarket Hanger.
You are able to mount the OEM Bracket for license-Plate, etc.,(M6 Insets)
- This Tailsection is build as ONE PIECE for structural strength.
- Seatpad is included
- It will be delivered in black or grey gelcoat, ready to paint
- Used Mounting spots are OEM, front mounting spot can be reinforced,
or I can deliver a Carbon-support Bracket, bolt on.
- Rear mounting spot for the Fueltank is integrated into the Tailsection
- Usual Time to mount this Monocoque Tailsection at your 1098 : below 60 Minutes.
- Usual Time to remove it / put it on, once it is mounted ~ 5 Minutes

I love this tail section, but not the direction he wanted to go. This titanium sub frame was made especially for this bike - the only one in existence. Kind of cool. I do like his tail though and would love to use one on a build at some point!

When you build the bike with the NCR triples if you use an offset lower than 31mm your steering damper bracket hits the ignition switch and plastics (or carbon) around it. as far as adjustable triples go check out the ones durbahn makes, they keep the same steering damper position no matter what offset you use. i wonder why not go with ohlins 900 superbike forks. NCR makes the triples to fit also.

that 19x18 RACE master cylinder is best ive ever used, i will never sell it.

this build looks exactly like my friends bike, he has just about every part here from the frame to swingarm, though he has 16.5 mag wheels.

By the way his frame is #1 - first one NCR made (he started it). HE pushed NCR to make this frame, so without him, i dont think they would have started to make this Ti frame and sell to the public.

he is selling the frame to fund his new business venture.
