Congratulations !!! enjoy it and be safe. I have a question, I read in some other thread that the instrument panel is smaller that what it looks like in the official pics. It that true?

Again, congrats ! nice way to end 06.

Merry x'mas.

Oh... My... F'ing..... Nevermind. If my GF were here she'd be wet.

Peet, I have just uncorked a Gouden Carolus Noel in your honor. I hope you're a Begian beer guy. My god, how could you not be??!! I am. If you're ever in Seattle, we have an amazing Belgian beer bar www.brouwerscafe.com. Ring me up if you're in Seattle, it's JUST up the street from me AND just up the street from Ducati Seattle www.ducatiseattle.com.

Cheers!

My S comes in February, My S comes in February.... This is just torture. :wflag

Hi, as Peet, i got my bike yesterday, but not so much pics and for me it's full stock.

After 100km by night with 0°C i can say that the handiness of that bike is like a GSXR, like a bikecycle. The position is like said Peet : F4.
The noise with stock pipe is really great. My dealer make a comparison with a 998 with Termi and it's quite similar !! I can't imagine with termi like Peet !!

Well, i can't wait longer, i need to make a run until it's -2°C outside.

Congrats Pilgrim ... another lucy man.:Jiggy

How was it riding at night with the single low beam headlight? There is already talk of members who want to make it use two headlights all the time because of concern on lighting ability of the stock headlight setup.

Comments? Stay warm!

they are doing great.... i'm there at least every other saturday
talk to them more often
david is doing well
Joe is ok
Duncan, Marvin, James, Todd.... and the rest of them
i'm sure that they miss you
i'll be getting the TC, i think..... though that announced BLACK "S" with RED frame has me a bit intrigued
but the 70mm full termi is a must for me

so....
i think it'll be the TC

Sorry guys, nothing much I can tell today. They delivered the wrong tires at my dealer. Because of X-mas my dealer is closed a few days. My bike will be ready on thursday. I will post my experiences then.

I tried 1098S today. First impression is related to the excellent riding position, much better than MV F4. If I need to compare, I would rather say that it's similar to RSVR Factory, maybe a bit longer. Sound with stock pipes OK, good feeling on the gas grip, look from behind still a litle bit thin altough 6'' rear wheel, sexy fuel tank shape, not so nice tail... In general, quite good bike with several cheap looking details which can be overcome with carbon parts. I like it but I'm not to impressed.
Hoping to try it on the track in January during the first local press test, today was very cold.

THIS is the most important info to me (and many others here)
can you please take a moment to be more specific about the "BETTER" riding position of the 1098 as compared to the F4

thanks SO much, in advance
