Hangover's almost gone.:beer

1098's almost here (well, another 40-60 days).:BangHead

Savings account is almost big enough.
Weather's good enough to ride right NOW (mid-40s).:moped

1098-Forum was a real find - couple days of lurking back in December and I ran to the dealer in panic to place a deposit.:biggrin.

No bikes left at one of the only two Michigan dealers - and the bike show isn't 'till Jan 6.

Andrew.

I had to carry my 7-yr old daughter home from the neighbors (~50 yards) at 1:00am - couldn't chance hittin the sauce hard.

I'm in Orion Township - just down the road from you. Clouds look like rain so I may opt to ride the ST1100 instead of the Superhawk (my poor man's Duc).

This'll be my first Duc - so I'm anxiously wringing my hands, waiting for the dealer to call.

From your avatar you appear to be a seasoned Ducatista. Do you have a 1098/1098S/1098TC on order? If yes, which dealer?

i have no intension of getting a 1098. bought my strada last year, and to say the least 140+hp at the wheel scares the sh*t out of me. waiting for the new mid-weight perhaps in 08.
im here because if i didnt join tiago was going to beat me up. :bitchslap
check out our local ducati club (not that i want to take u away from this place) but its a place us locals set up rides, intermot and race viewing outings, and other stuff.
