Anyone out there collect watches? I am addicted to watches and have started my collection. I am just getting into it and cant spent loads of cash but here is what I have so far....
1) Hamilton Ventura..old one with the 505 movement
2) Raymond Weil Geneve
3) Movado Espiranza..Grad gift from parents
4) Raymond Weil Tradition
5) Baume Mercier Classima Executive
6) Zodiak SeaWolf from like the 60's.
The next piece will be more rare....I am thinking a Parmigiani Kalpa Grande, or a Carl F Bucherer Patravi.

Get the Sea Dweller. Its what I currently wear. It has good weight to it and is perfect for when you need to go about 4000ft under water! Even though the deepest anyone has dove is just over 2000ft. But it is a great and very resilient watch.

I have a Sea Dweller also. I burned up getting fried by power lines a couple a months ago. I sent it to Rolex USA. They're sending me a new one free of charge. They want to put the old one in their museum, as it still works. I'll try to post some pics.

You can't link to pictures that are on your hard drive... they have to be on a server somewhere.
You can attach them though if you use the "manage attachments" link under "additional options". When you're replying you can scroll down to see these options.

I got hit with 25,000 volts. Second a nd third degree burns. Sliced through my watch like a laser beam. Fried my cloths and my altimeter.Oh, and didn't feel too good, especially after I fell 30 ft. straight to the ground.:( :lmao

It was a skydiving accident. You may have seen it on the news or National Enquiror..etc. 25,000 volts of pure fun...not.

Where do I find this manage attachments Link?
I've got a huge screen at work so it's pretty obvious, but if you have a smaller screen, you'll probably have to scroll down.
On the screen where you type a reply, there is a red line on top that says "Reply to thread". If you scroll down, the next red line will say "Additional Options"
Second box down is Attach Files, which has a link to Manage Attachements.
Looks something like this:

The problem is that the euro watch movement is making its way to the US. The watches are getting bigger and bigger, heavier and heavier. Depending on what kind of watch you get they arent that heavy...brietlings are heavy and other watches like that are.
My Hamilton automatic is very very light, as well as my Baume Mercier classima, and raymond weil tradition.
