Where did you get it from ? Also where did you get your Fatty and Nightrain from, if it's this same dealer this is why you
you might have got a discount, otherwise rec retail is and always has been $33,500.00.

I thought it was from Causeway, I hope you enjoy the aftersales experience that a lot of their customers get. Good to see you can hold a grudge. Just remember the customer is not always right.

Well i guess you are from Frasers and i am not sure about holding a grudge ,i just felt that after talking to a salesman at frasers and a salesman at Causeway i went with the one i felt more comfortable with ,you are the second person from Frasers to bag Causeway yet they have not said a bad word about Frasers go Figure and if i have too much trouble i wil just get onto Ducati Aus and work it out.

The salesmen change on a regular basis so the person dealt with back then probably isn't there any more.

As for not hearing anything bad from them the majority of their customers go elsewhere for servicing and warranty, could be they are sick of doing their warranty work for them.

:bullshit:dropjaw
Not sure i can believe what i am reading here...but, Fraser's in Sydney have the same crap attitude, regular staff turnover, and crap service...the only exception being the guy in spares...he could teach the whole lot of you a thing or two about customer service...

And customers are always so polite and easy to get along with (come in with a crap attitude and it rubs off on people) , everybody has bad days. You should try it from the other side. As for customer service, the Perth store wouldn't be the third biggest seller of Ducatis in Australia if they were crap.

How's this? I put a deposit on for $33,000, and when it gets here he tells me it's gone up $500 and I had to pay $33,500! I was pissed. First time I've ever put a deposit on something and the price goes up well AFTER the deposits paid. Breach of contract if you ask me. I had to take it like a bitch coz I didn't want to piss off the guys that were going to be servicing my baby.

I have my OWN business, and let me tell you, my customers get service and a "can do" attitude, unlike i & half the Ducati community get from Frasers salespeople..if you are lucky enough to speak to the same person twice...as for the crap attitude, it is what customers are met with in the stores, so don't wonder why you get it back..as for being the 3rd biggest seller...well it's not so hard if you own the Importer & the distribution along with dealerships.... wake up & smell the roses, if you are so crapped off with everyone's attitude, then get out of the industry...i can't understand why people work in jobs they hate or that gets them down....

Actually I really enjoy the job apart from from the odd customer who comes in with the holier than thou attitude. Most of the people I deal with are happy with my work. Also I've owned two successful businesses myself and am semi-retired, I work because I enjoy it.
As for being aligned with the importer it actually makes it harder for sales and after service on us. I suggest you should n't speak on behalf of other people and let them speak for themselves. That being said I don't know how the eastern states stores do business so I can't comment on them, have you been over here to our store?

In an earlier post i stated that i went with the dealer i felt more comfortable with and now you are calling me childish ,do you work there or own the store as some of the comments passed by yourself in a public forum dont put Frasers Perth in the best light, high turnover of staff and because some customers piss you off you feel like you can take it out on others and you feel you can slam the opposition and customers that buy elsewhere

The big dealer lost the sale because of attitude.

The way you came off didn't you any favours. No I don't own the store and yes I do work there, have done for awhile and once again I haven't had any complaints about my work that I am aware of. I treat people the way they treat me.

I have to say that when I bought my first ducati a few years back, I visited both stores. I went to the one in Vic Park first thinking to myself that all dealers were the same. I was the only customer there... I was dressed smartly (in my office clothes), and hung about looking at (in the majority) all the second hand ducs there. It was obvious I wasn't just someone looking at bikes to pass the time of day. The salesman (I don't know if he's still working there) was out the front having a smoke, chatting with a mate and didn't take any notice of me whatsoever. "This is great customer service" thinks I. His mate nicked off, he finished his smoke, went inside and sat down at his desk. Still no service. So I went inside and noticed, sitting opposite him, a yellow SS - in new condition, but 2 years old - never owned. It had staintune pipes on it and the sign advertised that this was a new bike with the pipes thrown in for free. The price was $1000 more than the price of the (then) current model. So finally I spoke to the guy and said something like "Mate, the sign here says the pipes on this bike are free?"
He: "yup, that's right"
Me: "but it's a grand more than normal retail value"
He "yes"
Me "So what's the extra 1000 for?"
He "the pipes"
Me "but the sign says they're free!"
He "That's right"

At this stage I got frustrated and walked out.
I drove to Frasers, had a look around and one of the salesmen (whom I remember fondly, alas no longer works there) saw that I might be interested and just asked "Is there something here you'd like to have a look at?" No pressure, he was happy just to talk for a while and I generally walked off with a good feeling. Needless to say I went back later that week and put a deposit on my SS.
I like the people at Frasers, there may be better duc shops out there, but I know of at least one I'll never go to for a major purchase.

Sorry for the long winded post...
