Cupertino, CA (January 14th, 2008) - Hot on the heels of a record sales year
and domination in the Moto GP World Championship, Ducati North America
welcomes new employees to its Cupertino based team of professionals.
The Sales Department will benefit from two new members: Tim McNeely has been
hired as South West Area Sales Manager and will be based out of the Bay
Area.
In the South East, Shawn Sundheim has been hired to oversee all sales
activities, and will be based in Southern Florida. Both Tim and Shawn are
experienced Club Racers and Ducatisti.
Veteran Ducati employee Jim McKenna has been promoted to the role of
Canadian Sales and Marketing Manager. Jim will be overseeing all aspects of
the Ducati business in Canada, which has proven to be one of Ducati's
fastest growing markets worldwide over the past few years.
In addition to changes in the Sales Department, Ducati North America has
hired four new staff members that will be based out of the Cupertino
headquarters. Brendan Walsh has been appointed to the position of Ducati
Performance Accessories Manager, where he will oversee accessory sales and
factory liaison.
The IT Department has hired Rob Michailoff as Systems Administrator, in
which he will oversee and implement all IT related initiatives.
Nicole Imai has joined the team as Executive Assistant to CEO Michael Lock,
along with Rachel Beckner as Administrative Assistant to the DNA team.
In addition to the new hires, Jon Bekefy has moved internally to become the
Advertising and Brand Manager, responsible for National and Regional
communications.
