Any one up for a New Years Eve ride?

I'm planning on going up old 18, 181, BRP, ....

Temperature should be in the 50's and sunny.

dude...I wish i had seen this sooner. But it is 1330 and still only 45 here. Brrrrr. Be safe. Hope your ride was good.

Hey Mark,

we'll get together sooner or later.

I went up old 18 to Morganton then took 181 to Jonas Ridge, had a late luch at Jonas Ridge Outfitters and headed back to Charlotte.

Hardly any traffic and no cops made for a good ride.

Hey 916, Dread...last Tues I hit the dragon. No LEOs, and very little traffic. It was prob mid 50s to 60 D. Not bad, and a blast! I love that place and the surrounding roads. All the shops/restaurants were closed for the season (on the dragon). I wish I had stopped at Wheeler's. I didn't realize until I got back that he carries a bunch of dragon stuff at his shop.

Be safe...Spring is coming! (Optimist, huh?)
