View Full Version : Hello from Seattle!
Hello from Rainy/Windy/Snowy Seattle! A dedicated Ducati owner here, have progressively moved up the ranks from a 900SS/SP - 748 - 996 -MTS and currently a 996R. The R is for fun and I have a K1200S for long distance sport touring.
Am mulling over the thought of getting a 1098, but that would mean selling the 996R:confused
Great looking forum and I look forward to learning a lot from the membership and hopefully being able to contribute a few things!

Welcome!
I'd have a hard time selling my 996 to get a 1098, and it's not even an R model...
I'm likely going to sell a car this spring though, so if an 848 gets introduced, well, all bets are off! :biggrin
Thanks guys, the R is sold and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 1098S. I've been thru the sbk lineup since the 748 and I like to experience the latest offering from Ducati. I had to sell the R to pave the way for the 1098S, no regrets yet and am hoping the new bike lives up to its hype.

well, i can't say i'm happy to see you here. you're a bad influence on me. j/k after watching the 1098 in action up... i dare say you won't be disappointed, and from what I know of you.... you are one the few folks who truly have worked up the ladder of all Duc SBK's and actually riding the crap out of these bikes in the corners. you will be able to give us a full comparison vs the older sbk's. I can't wait to see you on a 1098, but I'm sure it won't see you long, I'll maybe see you 1/2 way into the first twisty, and then you'll be gone. hope your bike arrives soon.
