I don't believe that they distribute Nation wide, that would be too much for a few volunteers with vitually no budget......however you make a very good point about California.

Man, I can't believe response to this good cause has died out so. A couple of points.....

1) the good work that these folks want to accomplish HAS to be funded, planned, and accomplished well in advance of Christmas. So, if you plan on helping, do it earlier rather than later to allow them the time to complete their mission.
2) I only sent ten bucks. I am no philanthropist. I scrape by about every month. But this needs to be funded. C'mon guys, get up off a little cash. Instead of eating and drinking with the guys one night, go through the drive-through and send that money in to Phil.

Thanks....

(let's see...where do I usually store this soap boax)

If we all pass on starbucks today and make the donation to these kids we would be there by the end of the day.

I'm asking all of you to forgive just one starbucks coffee this week and instead donate the 4 bucks to this effort.

If only half of you did this we would be there.

I am fortunate enough that my child has everything she needs....and I'm sure most of you are in the same boat, let's think about the other children out there that aren't this lucky.

ok I'm off my soapbox as well....

Guys. I lost my wonderful son 5 1/2 years ago. He was my best friend and I greatly anticipated all the great times we would share together, on top of the great times we were already having. The great biking adventures...He already had a dirt bike and we always had a blast together. Christmas is NOT a good time for me. I dread it every year. But, this is one way, a very small way, that I can reach out and do something good for someone elses kids. I also do some local things. Do something good. You will probably get more than you give out of it.

Thanks to all of you that have contributed, it's a great thing we are all doing and it couldn't be at a better time of the year.

You don't need a paypal account in order to donate to this through paypal. You can just use a debit card or credit card and make a direct payment. If you would rather use google checkout pm me the amount with your e-mail and I can send an invoice that way too.

I would like to say a big thank you to Phil, R1Lover and each and every member who has contributed to this great cause. I am very proud to be a small part of this site and from the beginning we wanted this to be a place where the bar was held just a little higher, no personal attacks, porn, or people being completely out of line. Again thank you both for letting me be a small part of this site.:notworthy:notworthy GREAT job everyone!:slam

Just an FYI, I've removed the link to the paypal donation account. If anyone wishes to send Toy Time more donations, PM me for their address and you can send them a check.

I had to stop taking paypal donations because it takes approximately 2 to 3 days for them to transfer the money to a bank account. Since I am taking them the funds on Sat, I had to make the paypal withdrawal today in order to have the funds ready in advance.

Thanks again everyone. :badgerslayer
