They said he was 5 seconds off of Pedrosas record time.

But watching him ride, it doesnt seem like he would even be close!

there is no translation between driving F1 and riding motogp other than already knowing your way around the track...

there is no translation between driving F1 and riding motogp other than already knowing your way around the track...For most, that may be true, but MOST is definitely NOT Michael Schumacher. I'll leave the "Can't do its" to the rest of you that still don't believe it.:stirthepot:dunno

I thought the same thing, but he did do something like 57 laps, so maybe the part they posted was on his first 5 laps out? :dunno

If it's true, and I kinda wonder why all these news sources would lie, it's bloody impressive.

I know my lap times from 2 places I've done a bunch of trackdays, Mid Ohio & Road America, and I'm not in the same universe as Spies or Mladin....

I have been a Schumacher fan since 1993. He is the man, but lets remember one thing when comparing his times to the journalists times. He is the only one that could get away with crashing the thing (he is an Italian national hero). He is also the only one that could pay for the thing!!! What is he worth $700-$800 million USD?
