...and yes, I did name my dog Desmo.

I bought my first Ducati back in '91. It was my first bike, and I still own it. I've had a few other bikes over the years too, leading up to a 996 in 2000. That bike makes my lack of talent blatantly obvious, so instead of keeping up with the Joneses when the 998 came out, I started buying older bikes instead.

The 1098 looks intersting to me, but I have no plans of buying one. Just here to see what people's reactions to it before and after they're on the streets.

I got away with "Desmo" on this one because my wife figured she could call him Desi:

You'll need to talk to my wife about that one. :(

I will only admit to thoughts of a base 1098 which is immediately painted black... my last "new" bike is six years old now after all! :p
