Not if I cage it, I am going to wear the Authentic Ducati apparel as licensed to DKNY. I tried driving in a full suit and it sucked big time.
Be careful making fun of Arlen Ness suits, your hermano Julio is investing some of his hard earned fraud money into 1 pretty soon. You don't want him to repossess your house even if he is not on the title, right?

Yeah, I spoke with Sean (Finance manager @ Spectrum) a few weeks ago when I was in there buying some apparel and he told me about this upcoming RaceTech suspension clinic which will be similar to the one a few of us (Ron, Anthony, Myself, and Julio) went to a couple months ago. The only difference is that this time the venue will be easier to find :lmao
Since I already had my suspension setup the first time by RaceTech, I don't know if it's worth it...maybe if they have some free food :cool. But I urge, anybody that hasn't had their suspension setup to go to this clinic...it will be the best $20 you ever spent!

I wonder if this time they'll actually give some semblance of a suspension seminar....at the ProItalia one Ken just started tuning bikes and didn't give any seminar at all, you had to ask questions. Maybe he got tired trying to find the dayyum place....:)

What kind you getting? I want the Sato gold ones from Dan Kyle but I have to sell a few sets of my CF heel guards first to make the money for it. Satos are nice, but a few hundred more with the optional rear brake lever.

Captain Cream or Krispy Kreme??? We ought to do a stake out at Panera bread so we can see all the strippers coming and going. And if you dont like Panera Bread there's a Peppinos pizza nearby.
I checked Moto Wheels.
The weight savings from the BST Street to the Marcheesy Magnesiums is 3.8 lbs. Is 3.8 lbs worth the $1700 difference?
By the way Will, since I had the EVO slave and EVO bearing put on my bike, I haven't had any clutch issues. Let's hope it stays that way. :warning
I'm with Arnie. Panera sounds good, but then again so does "The Hat".

Like I always said, eat a light dinner and get some extra seat time in the morning on the throne before heading out to the races and the weight savings from that will outweigh a few thousand dollars worth of lightening mods.

Anthony,
Julio found the deal. It's at Brea. Brea did Julio's and last weekend mine for $460 installed. They are the OEM Pirelli Dragon Super Corsa's. Rob at Spectrum quoted me $289 just for the back tire plus about $180 for the front, plus $60 for the install, plus tax, disposal fees, etc. The Dragons are pricey, about $389 list just for the rear. So Spectrum is knocking off $100 from that price. Of course Spectrum has great prices on everything else, let me make that perfectly clear. Somehow Brea got a better deal on the Pirelli's.
I also found a tire place on line that has them for $200 rear, $140 front. You could buy it from them and take the tires to Spectrum and have them put them on.

I spoke to the boyz at Spectrum. There will be two techs from Racetech at the clinic. So they will be able to handle the number of folks that show up much better. Versus ProItalia where they only had one guy and it took forever.
Best to show up early they said. I'll be there at 9am.
thanks for the info Arnie but is any of us getting their suspension set up?
I personally got my set up at the track 2 Mondays ago.

I and Anthony will give you a call when we are on our way to Spectrum and from there we could arrange to do a quick ride to the beach or we'll figuered out once we are all together.

Mark Parts Unlimited 999S is coming with me and we'll be there by 9am as Adrian suggested. I am also doing my clutch slave. The BT-002s are backordered and I'll get them in 2-3 weeks but that's fine, I have enough life on my tires still to last til then since I am not that hard on them with my slow speed riding.
And... no, ChrisR6, you are not invited except for the lunch portion when we need some Jamba Juice.

I am just going to draft you on the track, ChrisR6 because you are much larger than me and can punch a bigger vacuum through the air for me to slipstream behind.

I thought it would make a difference if we set up the suspension in fulll leathers over squid uniforms. I personally dont want to wear a full suit there at all and just wanna roll in my cheap leather jacket and jeans. Anyone wearing full gear?

I had mine setup in full gear when I went to ProItalia's race tech clinic, but I don't think the 4-5 extra lbs will make a huge difference, if anything, tell him you want it slightly stiffer if you ride aggressively or plan on tracking it...they can compensate for any negligible difference accordingly.

The difference would be about 3-5 pounds, if that. Just drink a lot of water before you get it set or get a few bricks from the front of the Spectrum building and put them in your pocket.

BTW, the ARROWS are on! Took a bit to get the clamps to fit but they sound awesome. Two of these Titanium canisters weigh less than 1 stock can. Simply amazing.
