The hiker bit only works if you're Jerry and you can toss your jacket and walk around in your jeans. It won't work so much in a full suit unless you can take that off fast and walk around in your underarmor.

Hint: Hand signals work just fine in some situations where sound/hearing is limited or would be tactically unsound.

when I usually go up, I hav a car go ahea of me with a walkie talkie and I have my chatterbox on. So when he sees a car or anything, he presses a button and it rings on my head so I know when there is something coming up. That makes is much safer and I can use the whole lane.

I will definitely join you guys but i seems that officers always get me (even when I'm not speeding). Azusa has a lot of tight turns like malibu cyn.

Nah we open up plenty and with all the other riders coming and going it's pretty easy to not get caught... there is so much head tap'n like the guy that was franticly tapping his head with the CHP 20 feet behind him laughing (classic)...

How can you open up in azusa with all those tight turns. I mtb up glendora mt road and see some guys back there but it looks to narrow for fun. It wasn't designed to be ridden just to have access to the fires.

I'm local Italianrice and would be down for a look'see.

You are right 1st Duc as there are no real places where you can open up but there arent a lot of B&W either and the road is typically empty. Especially once you make a right on the bridge area and go all the way up the canyon. It's about 30 miles up I believe and the rod turns into one lane.

Ive gone up only when my friend goes since I love the fact that he can warn me in advance. Ill talk to him and find out when hes going next. But in any case, I'm also down to check it out sometime though. Let me know
