First time owners?

Just curious as to how many of you guys are first timers and what made you come across?

Do you mean first time Ducati owners?

If so, I did it because:

1. I wanted a new bike (had the old one for 17 yrs.)
2. I wanted a pure sportbike (superbike, if you will.)
3. I'd been looking for 3+ years but the offerings (ZX-10, etc.) didn't "grab" me. They didn't set off that "gotta have" spark.
4. The 1098 was sexy just sitting still. Gorgeous. That lit the fire.
5. I was able to pay cash without feeling any pain. I personally won't finance my "toys".
