don't have a Duc (yet!) but am wondering what if anything people think of the area Duc dealers? The ones I know of are:

Coleman Powerwhatever over in VA - Amazing showroom floor but I have one first-hand and one second-hand account of their sales staff pulling some sleazy tactics. Their accessories dept. was pretty nice to me though.

Battley in Gaithersburg - no dealings with them but they seem to be a Harley-centric place. I would be kind of hesitant to buy a Duc from here because of that.

Speed's Cycle just south of Baltimore - I know nothing of this place but it's only 10 minutes from where I work.

Hopefully this will not ruffle any feathers (never know where you'll find employees), I am not trying to stir up controversy or start a flamefest, just soliciting first-hand impressions.

Never been to Coleman. Been atleast a decade since i went by Battley.

Traffic past Speed's can be a pain during rush hours. There is atleast one from there that watches here. You'll probably like the place. If your not after the new in demand models they probably have one on the floor waiting for you. Good luck.

Personally, I would not buy at Coleman. Battley would be fine. Devan used to race ducs and they have been selling and servicing them for ages. I bought mine in Winchester at DucPond. If you live close to Speeds, I would go that route. They always seemed to be good to deal with.
