We'll be meeting the LA folks at the Chevron on the 15 and 74 between 10 and 10:30am.

OC folks will meet at 9am at the Starbucks off the 5 and Ortega.

Guys, here's the route for Idyllwyld with SCSR:

After our Breakfast start point in Ontario, Dennys 715 n. miliken (10 freeway and Miliken) we will run 10 east to 15 south to 74 east to 243 into Idyllwild.

With a stop at Jo'ann's for lunch.Then there is more twisting, scenic mountain roads where it will end in Banning.

From there, we will take I-10 Back towards our homes.

Does that sound close to what you guys were thinking about?

Rock Store is nice but the food is eck... and the ride is not as fun as the roads are not really that twisty on Mulholland but too tight on the others like Piuma.

But for a Parking Lot Posefest, you can't beat that place. If we roll there, we gotta make a point and park all the 1098s together next to their tree or something.

That means for Saturday, we gotta get there earlier, like by 830-900am for optimum parking. It gets full later.

Sundays, get there by 730am or forget it. You'll be parking 2 blocks away at the construction site if you're lucky.

Yeah I was pretty sore when I woke up this morning and had to play Paintball all day for my brother's b-day. :limp

As far as the Rock Store parking, I've gotten there as late as 1pm with about 4 other bikes and not had a problem finding good parking on a Saturday. It just depends, as most people just stop to eat and then roll out. We could get all of the bikes together for a photo I'm sure.

BTW: does anybody know the name of that Barbeque restaurant in Malibu? It's the best ever but I can't remember the name :bang

I still recommend a full suit anytime you're in the canyons. The jacket and jeans thing would be more like local stuff to grab coffee.

I'll keep you in the loop. It looks like I'll be doing a northern loop run (hwy 33-166) on Friday, ACH on Saturday and wherever Ara wants to go on Sunday if he's available. Nothing's set in stone so stay tuned.
