Just saying hi to all the members on 1098 forum. I've been riding for 8yrs now and owned a fair share of japanese sportbikes ranging from a '95 CBR900, 00 R1, 05 ZX6RR and my current track bike, 06 R6.
I'm really hyped up about the new 1098 but more eager and anticipating the new 848 since Ducati decided to add some of the retro styling that the 916/996/998 had. I can't wait to see it at the Long Beach show.
I'm expecting that members on this forum are alot more mature and more passionate about sportbikes then the other motorcycle forums.
Well here's some pics.

I mean, I shouldn't expect to see a 1098 with a 60T rear sprocket, some 905 crash bars, a 12 o"clock bar and a flat rear tire right... :cool
...or some fool asking how fast as everyone gone on their bike
...or is D&D better than Termignoni's...
^ I sure hope not :badteeth
Besides I know exactly what you mean, and I was :1poke you :beer

Thanks! The thing sure ain't no Ducati but it's a blast to ride! It's pushing around 115hp with just a full akra, PCIII, BMC filter. Not bad for a 600 :badgerslayer

Yeah, I don't think you will see any stunters using the 1098 anytime soon. Not that a stunter couldn't afford the bike initially (as Ducati has rectified the overpricing issue), but they will undoubtedly crash it many times and we all know Ducati's are EXPEN$IVE to fix. As far as the last two questions, I don't think anybody will ask such "SQUIDLY" nonsense; but if anybody does get out of line, I'm sure somebody on here is happy to correct them :bitchslap. Oh yeah, welcome dude :beer
