I would suggest up by me - Crystal Springs/Hamburg NJ - Some good roads - I have not explored many as of yet - I moved into the area late last year - from Westfield.

I saw a red S about 3 weeks ago along route 206 - Newton - I think it was the same guy - Dont remember his name - but he was from PA out with a bunch of buddies

I am thinking that it is time to head over the Bear Mt -
I have never been there - they tell me there are a bunch of bikes on good weekend.

From there the ride looks to be about 40-50 miles - up 94 to 17A - the road is mostly smooth (the 94 section is what I know).

First post, just got my 1098, red, this past Tuesday. Sold my ZX14 and my Big Dog Ridgeback. After riding this I didn't think they were going to get much use.

Let me know if anyone wants to do any Sunday morning riding. I generally go with my brother, MV F4, but always room for a gang. I am in Montville in Morris county and like to ride up to NY state on the back county roads. Will probably do bear mtn tomorrow.

i live right by bear mountain and am always up for a ride.
hell yeasterday wanst to bad late afternoon, even seen a few other bikers out.

I don't think that my 1098 will be out for the rest of the winter so I bought a KTM 530--road legal--to thump around on. We're going to have to get a crowd of these 1098s together in the spring. I am just curious what it would be like to see 7 or 8 of these at a stop light at the same time. :cool

Yeah, I have a bit of a list as well. Here's what I'm after: the DU515 Ohlins rear shock 3 way adjustable (Dan Kyle Racing for less than 800 buck), Ohlins steering damper (the stock one is worthless--again Dan Kyle has it for 340, can't beat it), full system termi only, clear alternatives rear LED with integrated directional, tail tidy to get rid of all the crap.

I ordered the tail light it was under 100 bucks shipped. I will order the rest of the stuff after x-mas (or hopefully Santa, my wife or my mother got the lists I have been leaving around).

After all that is done, I will be ready for the spring--CAN'T WAIT!
