hey all, first post here just last week i put my deposit down on a 1098, will be my 3rd bike and first ducati. cant tell ya how excited i am!! i used to be hugley anti ducati becuasei felt the numbers never matched (im talking performance numbers vs pricetag) but when i saw the press release of the 1098 i thought finally! coming off a heavaly modded 04 zx10 i didnt want a slouch, but i know this vtwin will be tits! anyways im still in shock that i will own one, ive been reading the past week thinking damn i wish i could have one haha. anyways you all seem like friendly cats so see u all on the forum n maybe one day we'll bump elbows at an all 1098 track day ?? 0;-)

the names JonPaul, or Jp for short, but most everyone calls me dreads being that im a white kid with dreadlocks haha. anyways i understand why people go ducati, its true u can make a toyota supra have double the horsepower of a ferrari but theres no essense. kinda like the japs vs duc i think.
