Thanks Guys.
Thanks a lot.
If I get fired and/or divorced, it's all your fault.
I had little interest in actually buying a 1098, yet I just realized I've spent the last few minutes sitting here at my desk staring blankly at the black one. Yeah, I know they won't come in black, but so what. I've got a spray gun and House of Kolor sells black paint...

Spalding, again, according to what I was told, the base will come in two colours: Red and I was told yellow will most likely be named the second by early next week. S is only in Red.
I'm sure next year will bring new colours, at least an addition or two.

Darn it. Why, thats all I can say. Black with a red frame, very cool. I want one. The only down side to black is it is not as distinguishable as the red. Red is Ducati.

Here's a yellow 1098 from someone on the DML, I post it because the color is more realistic than the other yellow one I saw earlier.
I hope they carry over the frame and wheel colors from the tri-color model to the regular 1098 and 1098S models, instead of the red frame/black wheel look.

LOL When I ran across the thread title, I thought it said "Who would rather fancy a black person??"
Then my eyes refocused and I thought... "why not consider a black AND yellow model and kill both markets with one duc...

So you still don't think the color of the base model will be red or black like
ducati.com says ?
I hopa black will come out, looks great. But for the S it seems like red is
the only color. I would love it if they just could put a couple of white number
fields on it to..

The black doesn't do anything for me. I'd love to have a yellow however, I think it looks great.

I'd like to see a pic of that. Silver with white number plates and black trim would be sweet. But for now I must settle for the Tri :duh

Hey Rekloose, I just checked my Motorcyclist and if the pic your refering to is on pg.36 it's just a clay mockup. Although I stand by what you have said, silver with white number plates would be :drool
