Hi, my name is Gordon, I can see that I am not the first from " over the pond" I see 900man appeared a few days ago.
Like him also I went to the Milan show which for us is just down the road

It was the best bike exhibition I have ever been to, catered for all tastes, and I saw some of the best and most awful motorcycles created.

I am from Buckingham Uk about 1 hour north of London
Currently have a 97 748SP and a Breil 999S ( one off from Germany)

I was undecided about the 1098 from the pre show pics but in the flesh it's a stunner, the attention to detail is amazing, it's just a pity that the frame and fairing will hide most of the engine.

Me too, except I live in Norfolk, East Anglia. Quite often on the DSC website in the UK (been a member for years under my own name...Rod) and ever since the 1098 became a rumour, I have been on Ducati MS an awful lot but spend most of my time on this forum, as it seems a lot more up to date and being dedicated to the object of our desires, is more focused than other forums. That makes 3 Brits on here then (Actually I am half Italian, but I digress). Good to see you on here.
