Bike was picked up last Saturday. They sent out the headers to be ceramic coated a week ago and it should arrive by Thursday . Hope to get it back by Saturday.

I had good experience dealing with Todd. He even delivered the bike for free and I live 45 miles away. Do check around for prices on parts cause when I was looking for a Termi slip on I called Rockwell cycles and Ducati Manhattan and they all seem to have different prices I got the lowest price from Ducati Manhattan and Trebour matched it. Todd did give me a good price on the full system so I went for it instead of the slip on.

It did stall on me twice with the stock system but I attribute it to rider error getting used to riding a new bike. I still have the bike in the shop waiting for the stock header to be ceramic coated. The full system was done a week earlier. I did not realize that I had to reuse the stock header so that delayed the installation.

Nope and I am getting the run around when I call. I was told the end of April and it's almost the end of May. I am going there today to see what is going on. If I don't get a VIN or a something, I'm asking for my deposit back.:whip

Just did the Keith Code's SB school last friday at Poconos East - Had a blast (even in the rain) -

When you sign up - rent the bike a the same time - ($200 - with max if you dump +$750) -

One of the guys get clipped when he was riding his SB and spilled - on that GSXR100 bike it had to be $2K+ damage and it was just a slide off the track.

I have to wait until next year to approach the wife with the purchase of the track bike - can't see taking the Tri on the track for more then a solo ride.

I can't speak for the other tracks (never been to Barber or MO) but VIR is the mecca for motos. My next favorite track is Beaver Run. Out of the three choices you have I would go with either VIR or Barber. VIR is 9 - 10 hours away depending on your load. Pocono is my least favorite but it's conveniently close for single track days. Do yourself a favor and sign up for two days at a time if Code has space...it will make the trip more worthwhile.

I'd love too but unfortunately I won't be able to ride for the next few Sunday's - family obligations. The guy with the Daytona 675 is my brother so he's out the next few weeks as well.

It was a last minute ride that Sunday - day started out a little rainy but really turned out great.

It sounds like Styles and is heading up there about 9:00am

Hey fellow riders,we all do some fast riding on the public roads, but this happened yesterday right around the corner from my house.
Would hate for this to happen to one of us 1098 guys that meet up at rockwell or Mobil.

A motorcyclist from Queens died in a collision with a pickup truck on Storm King Mountain Sunday.
Town police said 32-year-old Eddie Lee was driving his 2004 Yamaha motorcycle south on Route 9W near the top of the mountain when he apparently lost control of his vehicle around 11:50 a.m.
The motorcycle crossed the center median into the path of a northbound Dodge Dakota pickup truck. Police said the driver of the pickup truck could not avoid the collision. The state police accident investigation unit assisted town police.
Orange County Coroner Kevin Quigley pronounced Lee dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, Robert McCormick, 58, of New Windsor, was not injured. No tickets were issued.

What did you think of promotion? I was thnking of joining (I am an amateur) and did the Code school. I had fun but promotion has a lot of dates that I can do.

I did the superbike school recently too. The TPM track days isn't anything like the superbike school, but it provides a great place for you to practice the skills you learned. I'm heading up to Poconos on 10/6 with a few of the guys. It's a TPM event. See if you can register.

I'm in Paramus. Mostly ride up by bear mtn thru harriman or up by vernon. seen a couple of 1098's by 7 lakes... always going the other way. my buddy i ride with just dumped his 749s and waiting on insurance. Let me know when yur heading up there...

I tried to get a TPM day (that friday) but couldn't get out of work and had plans for saturday that couldn't be broken. I do want to try out TPM. I heard the instruction isn't as formal but it is fun.

What were your thoughts on the day? Worth doing? Did you ride your 1098 or something else?

If the weather is nice we should all do a bear mtn run this sunday. I'll probably head up that way with my brother. He won't fit in with this Duc crowd but he has a cool bike nonetheless (MV Agusta F4 312R).
