Greetings from central NY, land of the 6 month riding season where anything remotely construed as "evading" police might be a felony! Ask me about the latest bullshit!
But seriously, howdy. I already recognize a handful of the faithful from the various two-wheeled-hooligan sites I frequent, hello and how are ya nice, to see ya. For those who don't know, I currently have a pair of Ducatis in the garage and am always looking for the next two or three to add. Presently in the stable are a hopped-up '97 Monster m750 and one of the Few and the Far-Between, a blue '88 Paso 750.
Am I going to buy a 1098? Good question. I like 'em. I've been gabbing w/ the local soon-to-be-dealer about a deposit on an S, but we'll see. I would totally rock one, to be sure ... but since the deal I have w/ Mrs. Fasterdammit states "as many motorcycles as I want, as long as I'm only paying for one at a time" - I just want to make sure I sign on the right dotted line. I could just as easily be pursuaded to park the right, gently used R-spec or Pista 748/996/998 next to the other two. Maybe even more so, considering the $20k door charge for the 1098s. Now if somebody wants to sell something along those lines to make room for their 1098? Let me know.
Besides motorcycles, I play & occasionally build guitar, am a web designer/developer and adjunct college prof to feed my moto-lust, father of one-soon-to-be-two, and soon-to-be-previous-owner of a '72 Toyota Land Cruiser. :`( <sniff>
