My first weekend on the 1098S ...

Took delivery on Saturday march 10th. I will remember that day for a long time. The weather was sunny but not very warm (53 to 60 F) currently in Belgium. I did about 180km/120mls this weekend.
Coming from a naked bike, driving position is off course very different.

My first impressions:
Below 70mls/hour and city traffic :ban .
Driving on twisted roads => :sweat. The bike IRL => :cool.

Today I crossed a guy on an MV F4-1000, he quickly made a U-turn and came riding next to me, just to check out my bike. I gave signal to follow me and we went for a coffee at the next caffee. We talked about the 2 bikes for more than 1 hour (the sound of that MV was awesome). Then changed personal info. We will be riding a nice tour next week if the weather is good. Awesome, the bike made me make new friends :hello on the first 150km/100 miles.

It's amazing how motorcycles bring people together! I've met so many people just from riding motorcycles! :greg
