Hello everybody.

a FNG here. Male, 38, and live somewhere in Europe.

I ride a kawa 636 for track purposes only, and the '06 Zx-10r on the street.

Ordered a 1098 last Monday, (so the 10r has to go) BUT ! the biggest problem right now is ; I work at a Kawaski dealer (bike-sales) and i have no clue on how to tell thems this "GREAT" news...

I saw the 1098 at the Milan show, and was sold on the spot. She'll be mine somewhere in March 07.

Damn, it's the first time i fell in love with a bike even before trying it out..:duh

Welcome to the forum!

I've bought six Ducatis so far, and only ridden one of them prior to purchase. No problem! (but to be honest, three of them didn't even run when I bought them, so riding them wasn't an option anyway! :moped )

Thanks for the welcome.

My first name is Luc. (pronounced like luck)

I'll definately tell you all about the comparison with the kawa 10r, that is, in the way i feel it..

Asa far as working with ducati ; Not too many duc's are sold around here, and it's common to get paid by the number of bikes you sell.
So, financially it's better to kwak's and ride a duc, than to sell duc's and ride a honda, haha :biggrin

Thanks for the welcome !

When buying a Zx14 ---ZZr14 : be carefull with its torque in wet conditions.. I had a minor problem on the german autobahn on a rainy day. The bike is able to spin the rear wheel in third gear at about 160kmh (about 100mph). I can get really scary if you don't expect a thing like that.

the ZX-14 gets even meaner with a few modifications
TRE/flies removed, PC III installed, etc....
