First off I would like to thank all of the members & moderators for making this place what it is. The admins, & moderators here are doing there best to help guide this forum in the proper direction. We all understand that we will never make everyone happy, but the majority is all we can hope for.
Thank said, thank you for being a member here and joining in our passion for the Ducati 1098.
In the next 30 days you will see some changes that have resulted from your input. I have received many suggestions and I thank all of you who have stepped up with these ideas. Below are some things to come. I just wanted to give all of you an update so you know what's going on behind the scenes.
1. We will add a forum for segregation..... this will be used for local track days and group riding event that are only valuable for local people in certain areas. We will rely on you to tell us what's needed as far as what areas. I will post up a thread for suggestions once this is completed.
2. Sponsors- Phil & I will go though the sponsor applications and decide on what's best for the members as far a the sponsors go. Our best interest will be to get a good coverage of sponsors that will be top notch in customer service and offer the greatest deals and group buys to you guy's. A sponsor section has already been added and setup, we are just waiting for the final details and it will be turned on.
3. There will be some sort of "Forum Supporters" membership that members can join for a small fee, we may include stickers and a t-shirt with this package. This will depend on what you guys want. This membership may also include added features such as added pm space, access to your personal gallery, access to a membership only forum, an e-mail account with the @1098-forum.com domain etc... these are still ideas at this point, but something along these lines will happen.
