Don't really know, but one of my buddies on a RC51 had a camera some where down on his lower fairing. He also can mount it on his rear for going away shots.

Sheesh, that wasn't AROUND me, I had to travel 900 miles one way for that!!
:cool
I live right outside Baltimore, Md, and Jennings, Fl is a cool 900 miles away. I was leaving 35 degree weather, and went into 80 degree sunny weather, with a super sweet racetrack.. Life is sweet!!
Almost 90% sure I will be there weekend after next... Tracktime in the dead of winter is the chit..

Just by coincidence, I am on my way there again weekend after next, the 24th and the 25th. I say about 17 hours with two people driving. The time can be cut to about 13 hours, but I like to get a lot of rest during long drives. That way, the drive is super enjoyable instead of being like a task.
This time if I go by myself, I will leave Thursday morning, I will drive about 500 miles and then go take a 3 to 4 hour nap in the back of my truck, then go and take my time and knock out the rest of the miles. Get there a day ahead of time, rest up in the motel, with a good night's sleep. Then hit the track Saturday morniing, ready for sunshine, and a sweetazz track to fly around on.
This will be my last trackday before I be racing on March 10th and 11th at VIR. I need all the seat time I can get to get in the groove.:)

Definitly get truck.. Titan,Tundra,Silverrado,F150.. Take your pick they all will pull a nice size trailer with over 4 bikes nicely..
And my super smooth riding F150 makes the long trip to the track, an adventure in enjoyment, instead of just a task to get me from point A to point B!:drool

Coleman, the fact that you ride at your age still overwhelms me! :notworthy From what a lot of my faster buddies have told me, the lower you are doesn't necessarily mean you're going faster!
Keep doing what you're doing! :workout

ya I really thought about, in matter of fact I was looking at like a mid 2000's supercharged frontier because when I was younger I use to love those trucks... The only problem is if I did get a truck now... well... I'd have to give up the 1098, so I think I'd rather get the bike and get the truck at the later time... lol, in the mean time I'll just pay some people to tow it for me.

The keyword here is necessarily. I have noticed in pics of riders that are much faster then me, in the same corner, and I have my bike leaned over more. The fact that they are off the bike way more, and their bike is more upright, they are giving more throttle. Also, I have noticed when I am zipping through a fast corner or switchback, here comes some experts, real low, going by me like I am standing still!!:)
Getting lower isn't the complete answer to going faster, but IMO, it is one of the important factors. IMO, being low cuts down the perception of speed too. Just my old 2 cents worth. Just trying use my thinking cap, and do some constructive practice.
Thanks for that input..
