thanks for the full description

why the "thinner head gasket" if you don't mind educating me?

That is one fine machine. :drool

I am suprised you don't have the kit intake cam, you have everything else!

I have the evo II with hex, pcIII, thin head gasket, and kit intake cam.

I am currently running the Full Akra map off the power commander site. I have been meaning to get a custom map and dyno sheet.

Don't mean to :threadjacked but here's a current shot of mine.

I'm running the Akra map on my R6 but a local shop down here in San Diego is trying to bring down Louie from L&L Motorsports with his mobile dyno for a weekend. Louie is always at the WSMC race weekends and a couple of my buddies got custom maps from him before and worked wonders. He also does all the real, unmodified dyno runs for RRW bike comparos.

I'll keep you posted or post a thread if it does happen. :slam

Greg, did you expect me to give you the full dynamics behind it? :cool

2004-2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R "Thin" Head Gasket
This optional "thin" head gasket is .3mm thinner than stock, raises the compression approximately .5 to .75 of a point. This allows the engine builder to optimize the compression ratio.

Thanks guys for the comments, I really enjoyed the process of buuilding it. I enlisted the advice of some folks who build race bike for a living and just went for it. It's like therapy for me and I enjoyed tinkering to make it better, the only thing I did not do was the paint which I specified to match the stock tank exactly and the number plates are a slightly off-white with a bit of pearl...next stop....building up the 1098S! I am planning on full Akrapovic exhaust with carbon cans, Dynojet PCIII, air cleaner, factory slipper clutch (already on it's way), Ohlins TTX superbike shock - which apparently is not on the market but I have a connection --same type of shock used in MotoGP --> here's a link http://www.ohlins.com/Automotive/InsideTTXContainerPage/TTXIntroduction/tabid/131/Default.aspx, superbike internals on the front Ohlins fork, rear sets, quick shifter, body work....I'm sure some other 'ideas' will intrigue me...

Nice setup duc1098! My buddy Aaron just got his TTX for his 06 R6! I have the PR shock on my 06 and love it! Both are awesome shocks! :notworthy

Nice bike duc. What's the $$ damage to one's wallet on that TTX shock?

*Nevermind, I just answered my own question...MSRP: $1,594; that's about $400 more than the 46PRXLS shock. Also, I read on a few sites that only 500 of these are being made for the U.S. market. Maybe Dan Kyle, or one of the Ohlins race gurus that sell these can confirm this?
