Hey guys, I just found this forum as I was searching for an actual "1098" forum on the net rather than just joining the regular Ducati forums or the monster forums. Anyway, I plan on owning my very first Ducati and hence the 1098 base model (whatever the 2nd color is--black or yellow) this Spring. I've always liked Ducs, but as a 22 year old guy who just finished college, they've always been outta my price range until now :cool. I live in Socal and ride all the good roads there: Palomar, ACH, Ortega, Montezuma, Banner, Malibu Cyn, etc. Currently I own a 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R and a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-636R; with the latter being my track bike mostly.
Anyway, I am currently selling my ZX-10R, which only has about 1900 actual miles on it (changed the sprockets) and a few mods...asking $7800 obo; so spread the word for a brotha ;). The closest Ducati dealership for me is Spectrum in Irvine, and they are supposed to be the largest, so I may be buying from them. Ok, enough ranting, I hope to see/ride with some of you peeps in the future.
