New to the board [Archive] - Ducati Superbikes

Glad to see this site breaking ground. I'm looking forward to owning the new Ten Ninety-Eight base model. I've been riding twins for about 13 years and this is my first Ducati purchase. Almost bought the 998 Matrix and the 749 Dark, but wanted to see what the replacement for the **9 would be. It's going to be a long winter as I wait for delivery. Any gear suggestions would be great. I'm going to buy a new helmet this winter as well. I have an "Arai" head and want the RX7 Corsair.

Welcome! Gear suggestions........there are so many options! What are you looking for, 1 piece, 2 piece, just a jacket? What is your budget?

I've already got a nice leather jacket. I am primarily interested in a new full face helmet such as an Rx7 or shoei x 11 and perhaps some dainese gloves and or boots to go with it all.

A 2 piece suit would be nice, but it's going to be difficult finding any leather suit off the rack for me since i'm 6'4'' and 230 lbs
