Illinois State Police are starting radar / photo enforced work zones July 1. If you're speeding, the camera automatically takes pics of you and you get a ticket via certified mail (at the $375 work zone fine level). Second one is $1K plus 90 day suspension.

It's worth noting that the ticket goes to the registered owner of the vehicle. So parents with driving age kids.. beware..

Just to add to this, they are also having state police in construction clothes running radar/laser IN the work zones. I've seen a couple already. The two I've seen are flaggers.
