Up for sale is a mint condition pair of Vanson perforated leather Traveler pants in size XL. They fit me perfectly when I was a 37 waist, but are too loose now that I am a 32. The Travelers look identical to Vanson's SportRider pant, but have two pockets in the front and an adjustable waist. If you are reading this you are already familiar with Vanson's legendary quality, but if not, here is more from Vanson's website:

"Totally adjustable low-bulk waist band with CORDURA lined pockets. Designed to zip to the Sport Rider Series of jackets, these pants feature double Competition Weight leather at the knees for abrasion resistance. Athletic mesh lining and expander section above the knee for comfort and a tapered leg to wear inside the riding boot. Pant leg zips at rear of calf.

Features:
-brass hardware
-2 zip close hand pockets
-1 rear snap close pocket
-2.5” belt loops

The PROperf model features competition weight Properf leather from the waist to knee in front, rear yoke, and back of knee to ankle."

Due to a recent weight loss these pants no longer fit me and I need something new. I purchased them 4 or so years ago when we had our second kid with all the best intentions of wearing them out but if you have kids you can probably guess what happened next: nothing! I think I just barely put enough miles on my bike to have to change the oil in the fall but that's about it. I might have worn these...I dunno...a dozen times. The rest of the time they were in dry storage. They are clean and in perfect condition: I never crashed in them, no missing belt loops, no imbedded insect bits, no grayed out areas, no scuffed knees, no previous repairs. On top of all that, they were wiped down after each ride and at the end of each season with Lemon Pledge (sounds weird, but highly recommended by Vanson). They look perfect. They aren't even broken in!

I am writing this from work so I don't have any pics but attached is a shot from Vanson's website. If you are interested I can forward pics of the actual pants. You will not be disappointed.

As for price, I was quoted the above by motorcycleleatherexchange.com as my trade in value. I figured I would toss them up here first and avoid having to ship them to Virginia. Brand new these are $450 plus shipping, plus 5% MA tax as they are protective gear not clothing.

Thanks in advance for your interest in this listing. Let me know if you have any questions or need to see any pics.
