Hey guys,

Just found out I'm getting orders to Tinker AFB Oklahoma in Dec. I am originally from Shawnee and haven't been back there (to live) in over six years. Curious how many riders are there and what dealer do you recommend? Do people still meet up at Joe's Crab Shack on wed nite for bike nite?

Thanks

Or you could just head out to the Tinker diagonal where Tom Padgem used to be or still is.

I'm at Dyess now, but I'm sponsored by Ducati OK. They're good guys there and do trackdays a couple times a year. Go bug Ryan (manager) and tell him to hurry and put a schedule together, I don't ride on the street much these days, but we could all get together for a track day!

Why don't you ride street much anymore? I always had a blast out there.

I have self control issues on the street. :lol

I have a M750 that I keep as a street bike, but I shouldn't go any bigger than that;)

Don't take your bike to the dealer in OKC. They are clueless. I use Letko in Kansas City. I've heard good things about AMS in Dallas.

riding in OK sucks! For anything decent, you gotta head east to Arkansas, those roads are ok.

Letko in KC is awesome.

Spoken like a true okie...but you're totaly right! Talamena Drive is the only half way decent road in the state, but 3 hours east of OKC in western AR is the shat!! And LOTS of it!!

Argos, what misadventure did you suffer at our local Ducati vendor?

I was stationed at Fort Sill for a few years (ugh). We had the wildlife refuge and Mt Scott = boring. Had some friends in OKC and Tulsa, we'd ride east for the good stuff.
