VAN BLAYLOCK WINS CHAMPIONSHIP ON 1098 S

KC International's Van Blaylock on board his Ducati 1098 S, prepared by North Texas Superbikes, claimed the 2008 CMRA Heavyweight Twins Championship on October 19. Blaylock, who missed the opening round of the series, dominated the year aboard his 1098 claiming six wins and never finishing worse than second to clinch the title in the final round.
"This was my first season back racing in almost 5 years, and my first time on a Ducati. I couldn’t believe how quickly I came to terms with the bike! It really is an amazing machine to ride. No doubt, the biggest reason I was able to start winning right away was the great group people I had helping me" said Blaylock. "I need to give a special thank you to Rachael Beckner and Jim Viola at Ducati North America. They really do care about us racers out there and go the extra mile to make sure we’re taken care of!" added Blaylock.
