My wife bought Sophia (our 7 month old Golden Retirever) a chew toy. It squeaked. Loudly. Sophia loved it.

Yesterday my wife flew off to Mexico, leaving me with the dogs. At some point last night, a strategically placed punch with a toothpick rendered the squeaky toy silent.

Sophia chomped down on it, chomped down on it again, and then gave me this look... I immediately felt guilty.
