Hey guys, i bought a tire changer recently (NoMar Classic) and i've been looking to make back some cost of the changer, so if you're in need of new tires, i can change them for $30 front and rear. I also have a balancer so the price includes mounting and balancing. If you only need to change one tire, it's $17.
I'm located in Piscataway, NJ for the local guys. Just shoot me a PM and we'll schedule a day.

i would reccommend doing it at no charge because as soon as you accept money for it you have liability if something happens. even if some one puts their wheel back on their bike incorrectly you could lose your house and all your $$.
and just because someone is your friend dont assume that they or their family wont sue you. just ask J.

thanks for the tip...i'll keep that in mind. what if i were to make people sign a liability waiver for doing the tire changes...would that protect me more?

it will most likely not. i would trade your service for beer donations or something like that. as soon as money changes hands you are offering a service and therefor can be on the hook if it all goes wrong. sorry to be the voice of reason but just looking out for you.

Even if you don't accept compensation for these services, the fact that you are providing them suggests you are competent enough to do it. If a tire loses air and the guy wads his bike up, after the calls to the ambulance and tow truck, the third will be to his attorney...then yours.
