Sunday Ride

Ok, here we go. Give me your thoughts and ideas on a ride?

I'll start with Sunday the 24th or Sunday the 31st, either North, South or West I dont care as long as I dont have to leave home at 6:30am, So I will put a 9:30-10am start time out there. Im thinking Kangaroo Valley or North for the Ferries......Putty road.....I hear the cops like that road or is it just too far???? I just want to ride so give me route you like and we'll go from there.

I just did Red Mountain Pass on Thursday and it was beautiful. I'm thinkin' you might have to leave a bit earlier than 6:30am if you want to make it though :mock

OK - so I get home last night and the lovely wife tells me she has arranged for a trip to the snow next week.... leaving wednesday 27th and getting back sunday 31st. So, boys, looks liek I am out for this ride, unless its the week after or the one afrter that (when's Fathers Day??). Enjoy

AntK, I haven't been around kangeroo Valley since '88, I thought it had been bypassed and the road had gone to shite apart from local s using it?

Warp - Kangaroo Valley rocks - as long as you go up the mountain pass to Robertson and drop in the back of the valley - just ask X - its his back yard!!

Hey Ant, I was google earthing and my memory is so dim about Kangeroo Vally, but is this a viable road for you guys?

Moss Vale road going upto the Nowra road up to Manning Lookout. Like I said it's been over twenty years since I've teavelled arounf there :)

The most thing I remember when I came back from Sydney was the Berry Donut Van..is it still operating?

From Mount Beauty to Falls Creek in the snow fields (read: summer riding :cold :)) 27 odd kilometers of mostly positive camber semi & hairpin turns.

OK, the 14th of Sep is looking free as far as track days and club stuff is concerened.....although if people want to ride this weekend I will ride, we can always orginise another.....maybe the Road Worriors Cafe Ant??????

I dont care where as long as its not a 6:30 start.....North or South.....I can recommend a kind of southern loop...say Waterfall.....through the park to Wollongong, hit the freeway to the Robertson pie shop (or hit the freeway at Helensberg, Mt Ously or side track through Mt Kiera onto the freeway to Robertson) through Jambaroo to Kiama onto Berry, Kangaroo Valley and back to the Pie shop.....or any combo of the above.....I dont ride North much so Im open to it, but I cant realy recommend a route.

We should try to make a regualr sunday per month where all the biys from NSW on the forum catch up for a ride. Somewhere new each time!

How about we start at Sutherland, through the National Park, Stanwell Tops and out to Appin, Mt Kiera, Robertson, Wild Medows, the Falls, Kangaroo Vally, Berry and either a Jamberoo/Robertson/Stanwell Tops finish.
