My mate Tony, CBR1000RR can not make the 17th, we share the drive down etc, all in the one car etc. all our shared stuff locked in the trailer, etc.
So we've both in for the Sat 16 instead, sorry I'll miss you guys on the Sun.
Hope both days end up with great weather.

Yes, DOCNSW organised a track day, because i had seen that VIC did it, so i shamed them into it (had been promising for a year...) i think i all pretty much booked up, or you can check the eastern creek ride days site to see if any bookings available...

Yeah, I'll miss going, Tony only had Sat up his sleeve,
no doubt we'll catch up soon anyway.
Thanks for the lever M,
Btw, got my raceglass fitted up on Monday, getting custom air ducts made as to piss those straws off that the engine has to breathe thru, the stock units are very disappointing, especially for a performace bike.

Bummer...oh well, next time.
Is this your doing Micheal??? Good work bro.:thumbup
So awhile back, someone (a group of mates in the US) hired a whole track for their own track day. I think I remember the guy saying it was maybe a $50 OR $100 more than a regular ride day, as there numbers were smaller than a ride day but there was no middle man so it was cost effective, they had the track to themselvse all day, no groups no time limits just an open track for the day.
I might check into the possibillity for us to do the same, keep it relativley small, say 10 to 20 riders or something.
Anyone have any knowledge that may help this along?

You can hire Wakefield Park for a day, and they have villas to stay in as well, we are looking into this later in the year, as is too cold in winter... EC would be too expensive i think...

Hey Aussie1098s - I'm interested - what brand raceglass, and where are you getting the custom air ducts made?
I've been looking for a while now.

No sweat,
Thanks again
Owe you one!
I dont think my shit is going to roll up in time, anybody got a spare rear stand I could use on the day....if my tyre warmers show up?
Is it time to put on the posimistic hat....maybe focus our 'energies' on clearing the rain, weather zone is calling the 17th as a high chance of rain??????

praying for blue skies... i will bring my single sided stand, only need it for the 1st session for the Multi, then i use the 1098 (have my motovation sliders which also double as a pickup for the dual stand), so then can change the pin so you can use on the 1098..

Got my sliders yesterday, bars, forks, frame, F & R wheels,
Got to fit the rears up and adjust the std rear bike lift to suit.

Sweet, Hopefully my gear will arrive.

Hope you dont need the sliders.....are we talking crash knobs or the knee kind???
So have you sorted the rear squating issue we talked about?
I was hoping to raise my forks 5mm-10mm but the triple clamp lift part of the stand is still in development.
I think Im going to use a strap and ratchet to lift the bike from the rafters...Im dead keen to try this geomtry change.
I think the major issue I have is the front not working as hard as I like. Im thinking this will resolve some of the front end vagueness I feel at part lean. Im keen to change tyres as well, I would bet some of the resistence to lean is pirelli related.

I think it was "chewy", black 900SS, failed first scrutineering, then passed with a throttle fix. When he started the bike for the first time oily smoke came out of the headers and everywhere else. I remember thinking something is up with this bike??????

My mate also had a Multi on the day - yellow group. He was having a ball from T1 to T12, overtaking all the guys who blew by him on the straight! Good all-rounder, the Multi - his comment is that it does everything well. I think we met you briefly a month ago when you were at EC - he was commenting on the lack of "stock" parts on your bike... ;)
