If you wear a one piece suit, what do you do in the hour off??? remove it till your ready to ride or just stay in it "tornaquet'd" all day.

Yer you may want to do your rego and vin number as well. Stories of insurance dudes writing down numbers for track day list, are always around.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll remove it altogether or tape it at the gate or something.

If I can chime in with some advice for your ride day.....

Remove your mirrors, & rear rego/indicator bracket & unplug the wires. No real need to tape up the lights, but do it if it makes you feel better protected. Mirrors are a real distraction on the track so better to get rid of them.

Tyre warmers are a great idea if you can afford to buy 'em or maybe borrow a set. Let's you get up to speed more quickly & safely.

I always wear a one piece suit & usually keep it on during the break (but unzip it a bit for the girls)

Good luck guys. Just remember the superbike lap record at EC is around 1:30 (!!!!!)

So, what do I replace the mirrors with? Im sure the scrutineers will notice the unfastened faring.
Maybe I'll check out the hardware store tommorrow night.

I just put some black cables ties around the holes to hold everything down. Works perfect.

......I got cable ties.

Spewing my brake/indercator lights wires are'nt in reach, I'd like to pop the cans off and remove that whole rego bracket.

Yeah. Ya gotta remove the cans to unscrew the bracket. Bit of a PITA but got to be done. Last time I did it I found I only needed to remove one can. :)

Yeah one can, I was hoping I would get way with just that, I hear your R has the wireing connector in the rear compartment. I think I have to remove the whole tail section to get to mine.:bangwall

X, just remove the f*ckin number plate around the corner, or tape it up, around the corner... when you get inside near the garages, then tape your mirrors, and have never bothered with the lights, but if you want, tape em..see you sat morning... ring me when you pull up around the corner, whoever gets there first grabs the garage..
