It's happened! Two months after my brief moment of an embarrassing-learner-type-stuff-up gear change that resulted in me sliding and my arse down the road and the demise of my gorgeous 07 1098S, I have a new bike!!! Same colour, same pipes, just like it was all a bad dream...

I've been a bit slack, I've had it for two weeks now and I haven't posted anything here because I've been waiting for some decent weather to get some decent photos of it and post them... and also to get to ride it!!! But with it being winter and working shift work, it's been sitting in the shed most of the time. I got a chance for a quick ride on Saturday to Inverloch with my brother and my girlfriend, the road was damp in patches and it was a bit cold, but it was just so good to be out letting those lovely Termis venting their music into the atmosphere. I was so keen to get out with two other bikes and go for a ride that I didn't think to take the camera...

My thanks go out to QBE insurance for their excellent service, and to all at Ducati Melbourne for getting my bike to me as soon as possible, and for their understanding and excellent service. :thumbup

I'm a very happy man again!!!! :yahoo

Just read this post. Congrats man. You had some shit luck but seems things have turned around for you!

I want to get some more miles up on my bike but the weather around East of Melb has been crap. I'll PM you when the weather improves & maybe we can finally go for a spin?

Thanks fellas, it's great to have my bike back again... even if it has been mostly sitting in the shed because of the shit weather.

Mark, I'm looking forward to better weather myself. It's been terrible here in the Valley as well. I've only managed the one trip to Inverloch since I've had my new bike and even then I was dodging the puddles! Let me know when you want to catch up for a squirt. I work shift work so I have time off during the week as well as weekends, it varies week to week.... PM me and we'll figure something out.

Yep, Cool. Does that mean I can get my suspension sorted by the pro's:humpleg.

I'll be sharing a pit garage with Ozducati and Aussie1098S.....so I can get some residual radiation off there tyre warmers and that will be my "why Im slow excuse":lol

EC ridedays tell me to be there @ 8.00am.....thats an early start from Shellharbour:violin.
