Got the same thing too Phil. Jessie was the name and Buddism is the driver. How do we stop it? I know it's hard trying to control this crap,.we appriciate all that you guys do here at this Forum, it's the best. Tony.:thumbup

Rhett is more of the subject matter expert on this than I am...but from what I've seen..

There really is no way to completely stop any random person from signing up on the forum, hanging out (and maybe even posting for a bit), and then launching a PM SPAM campaign. The best thing we have is input from the users to let us know when this happens so we can address it. Previously, we screened all new applications to sign up on the forum, but the forum is pretty large now and that gets to be tedious.

Ya the new thing is actual people are signing up and then posting and spamming.... as for bots... we are pretty well taken care of but one or two can slip by.

I'm going to update the forum to the most current version soon and it has some new features to prevent this as well.

Just make sure to report them as soon as you can so we can take action.

They should all be gone now, there is an option to remove all pm's form users that are removed and I did this on this guy.
